Clinton -- Thanks for posting what looks like a gem. Didn't make it to this one and haven't listened yet, but I made it to Pearl Street the following 12/31 and this show looks BOSS compared to that night, at least on paper. BTW, on tracks 18, 21, and 26 I got "Decryption error" and the download didn't work. Everything else went smoothly though.

This was a special show. In some ways it felt like they were putting the-slip-as-we-knew-them to rest by playing chronologically through their catalog. It was a celebration. listening back to it is bittersweet.

Big Bob -- Those were my thoughts exactly from reading the setlist. A send-off of sorts, with lots of ground covered. Can't wait to get into this one.

FYI -- I was having trouble with some of the tracks (they seemed to download to my comp from mega but then wouldn't import to iTunes). Reloading the tracks at mega once or twice before trying to download again seemed to fix the issue, although tracks 18, 21, and 26 still return a "decryption error" message and won't download. From what I've heard so far the crowd's energy was through the roof!

i was there. absolutely nuts... their buddy meowskers really got the crowd going, acting as a host of sorts to the event in which the slip travelled back through their catalogue of songs to 'solve' new years or some such nonsense.
